Case studies // The guardrails at work

Case Studies

Three principles state how I work. Each one has a case study showing what it costs and what it pays off.

The Case Studies section on the homepage links here: real method, not slogans - complexity taken apart, details specified down to the pixel, and ownership proven by systems I run myself.

Case studies

  • I take the time to understand complexity strategy - Most teams stop when the problem still looks big. I keep going until it has a shape - because the expensive decisions are almost never made in the design, they are made in what the design assumes.
  • Details matter! design - Quality lives in the smallest details. Even the tiniest objects around us carry thoughtful interactions behind them - a product feels premium in the milliseconds nobody can point at.
  • I take ownership in what I make web - You cannot have an opinion about something you haven't tried. That is why I built my own AI system - Winston runs this website's chat, and it holds me to the standard I ask of client work.
